The application procedure for the joint AILA SOLIDARITY & DAAD AWARDS is closed

Unfortunately, not all applicants could be awarded financial support. After careful consideration of all applications the AILA Solidarity Award committee has announced the following awardees.

AILA Solidarity Awards

Based on the resources of a Solidarity Fund made possible by generous donations of individuals, businesses, and organizations, AILA offers a limited number of Solidarity Awards to scholars in Applied Linguistics who might be unable to participate in the World Congress without financial support. DAAD Grants

We are pleased to announce that in addition to the AILA Solidarity Awards the DAAD has pledged its support for AILA 2008 by making available financial assistance for colleagues from less affluent regions and transforming countries. The AILA 2008 team greatly appreciates this and expresses its gratitude to the German Academic Exchange Service-DAAD.
